Ric Sarracino works on a mural entitled “Gallup Hispanics” on Coal Street near the First Street intersection on Monday. Sarracino was commissioned by the city to paint the 23 by 12 foot mural, which he estimates will take him another two months to complete. The mural, which depicts scenes of Hispanic life, is the first of its kind for the city.
